Baby Allen: Written in the Stars!

Josh Allen, our Buffalo Bills quarterback and adopted son in Buffalo and his beautiful and talented wife Hailee Steinfeld announced Friday, December 12 that they are expecting a baby! This was just a day after her 29th birthday, when the moon entered her fourth house of home and family, and landed exact on her north node of fate, highlighting her path forward.

For those close to me, you know I have been talking about this for months. There are HUGE changes in Josh's chart, which I keep a closer eye on for football reasons. These prompted me to also look at Hailee's chart, as his wife and life partner. As a result, I have already said out loud to my friends, family and clients that I feel this baby will come before the end of May.

Let me start by saying both Josh and Hailee have a strong Cancer signature in their charts. He has a Cancer Moon and she has a Cancer Rising. This is a lovely aspect to see in a partnership, the connection between true self and emotions as an aside.

This makes them family people for sure, but this makes them perhaps more private, which has prompted me not to discuss this before now. One, because I was purely speculating, and two, because I respect their boundaries. Now that the whole world knows there is a baby coming however, I feel like we can discuss.

There are multiple ways babies can show up in charts. As with all things in astrology, there is no one thing that says with certaintly, "this one thing is what is coming." I like to see 3 or more things that point at a moment or event to make it more concrete. This is definitely the case for Baby Allen.

Josh and Hailee are both having their Saturn return this year

This does not point exclusively at parenthood but it is definitely a thing people might experience during a Saturn return.

The Saturn return occurs around age 29 and has everything to do with adulting. The planet Saturn takes 29.5 years to get around our charts, and when it comes back to where it started, it's a moment of reckoning. We are asked to do hard things, it comes with big responsibilies and is often a time of challenge. At the end of the day, we are levelling up and doing things that establish us as the boss of ourselves, and we begin to make our own path. Sometimes, it means we buy a house, get married, have a baby, quit a job, move across the country, or in some way, we start a new life.

Jupiter, the planet of blessings and abundance

Jupiter is in Cancer until July 1, 2026. The planet Jupiter is about blessings, abundance and growth. Whatever it touches, grows in some way. Jupiter crossed Hailee's ascendant (her soul's purpose) June 14, 2025 just weeks after their wedding. Jupiter is sitting on Josh's moon (his emotional self) which has been dancing around this space since October. The last pass is on May 25, 2026. Both are classic parenthood/family addition aspects.

Hailee has Jupiter in harmony with Venus in her solar return chart which stays with her all year. Venus is one of the planets we look at for fertility in charts. Jupiter, the ever giving planet, is shining its light there all year. In Hailee's chart, Venus rules family and community, so when Jupiter is shining on those spaces, those are the spaces where the growth comes. That is another positive sign for her chart.

Jupiter is also in harmony with Josh's rising sign which started in September and continues through April 28. Blessings again shining on his soul's purpose. Good for football too, maybe? Wink, wink.

Side note, Jupiter loves being in Cancer, making its blessings just a whole lot more powerful and joy infused.

Solar Return Moments

In Hailee's solar return chart from last year, the house highlighted was the 5th house which includes things like romance and children. Got married, check. Pregnant, check.

For those who like to know stuff, a solar return chart is created every year when the Sun in the sky returns to the exact same spot it was when you were born. It can be the day before, the day of or the day after your birthday. It creates a vibe for your year ahead. There is a house that is highlighted in that chart as well as a new rising sign and moon.

One of the things that is important in the solar return chart is the rising sign that is established for the coming year. When it is the same as your natal rising sign (the one you were born with) it means you are going to do some pretty important things that year.

Hailee and Josh BOTH have their solar return rising signs the same as their natal (aka born with) risings. Hailee has Cancer rising, Josh has Scorpio rising. They are both doing important stuff this year.

In Josh's solar return chart for his next birthday, his Sun will sit exactly with the planet Uranus. This is the planet of reinvention, revolution, explosiveness, surprises, change and freedom. This is interesting because Josh has also been experiencing the effects of Uranus on his natal Sun since August 15 2025. You can see it happening, as he frees himself to play football the way he wants to, doing his own thing with his own explosive style. This aspect continues through May 18, 2026 when it makes its final pass and the lessons are cemented.

Uranus transitting the Sun is about authenticity and a new self emerging. I would say parenthood is one thing that without a doubt changes who you are.

Progressed Charts

Josh is having something SUPER important going on this year. His progressed Sun is changing signs on May 28, 2026. Without getting into the technical bits, please know this is something that only happens 3-4 times in most people's life. It is a pivotal, life altering moment. People make massive life shifts when this occurs.

To give you a sense of this, I am 51 years old and this has only happened once in my lifetime. It's a big deal.

Josh's progressed Sun is changing to the sign of Cancer which has everything to do with nurturing, family, parenthood and protecting your people. It is absolutely a time people start a family.

Hailee started a New Moon phase in her progressed chart last year, in January of 2025 not long after their engagement. This timing marks a fresh start, when seeds are planted for the future. The sign it occurs in talks about what the phase will feel like. Her occured at 18 degrees of Capricorn, another sign about parenthood.

Hailee also has a stellium in Capricorn (several planets in the same sign creating an intensity of that sign) and this new start lined up with what else but Jupiter in her natal chart. All in the seventh house of marraige and partnership.

Isn't love grand?

If I have said it once, I have said it 100 times, I trust astrology more than most people. With this many connections and timing linkages, this was bound to happen now. Astrology shows us how cycles show up in life. This is all about energy and how things are intended to evolve.

PS When the announcement was made, Hailee's progressed moon shone exact upon Uranus in her natal chart. It's time for change, Baby Allen! We are all rooting for you.
