Virgo season is a favorite time of year for me because it balances me out.

When the Sun enters Virgo it shines on Jupiter in my chart. Jupiter brings blessings, growth and abundance for sure. It is the only planet in the sky that gives more light than it receives from the Sun. In short, Jupiter is a giver. Where the Sun shines, things are highlighted.
What also happens for me in Virgo season, is that the Sun provides stability a somewhat tense part of my chart.
I have a formation in my chart called a T-square. It is pretty common to have this but basically it creates a tension in the life of the owner. Two planets are opposite each other and a third planet makes a 90 degree angle (a square) to each of the planets in opposition. Basically it’s a big triangle. The T Square makes for energy that needs an outlet to balance the energy of the squares. The nature energy for that is to embody the energy of the area in the chart across from the square making planet (or planets in my case.)
Think of a stool that needs four legs but only has three. It will wobble if you try to sit on it and it may in fact fall over. If you add the fourth leg, you create the stability.
Virgo is my fourth leg. It is the energy that balances my wobbly stool.
Also, from a very simple perspective, I have almost no Earth energy in my chart. Since Earth is grounding, having the Sun in an earth sign like Virgo is very good for a floaty soul like mine.
I have had very profound things occur in my life during Virgo season.
Most import is my twins were born during Virgo season. They are forever my fourth legs, helping to ground me with their earth energy and Virgo-ness.
I met my new husband during Virgo season.
My divorce from my first husband was finalized during Virgo season.
I started my first most important job in public health during Virgo season.
Mostly, it is just a fortuitous stabilizing time for me. I feel better in my skin and I find the energy to start things and be productive.
I had been pondering this for a little while when I saw a friend share on social media that she had been on Good Morning America twice in the last year and both times on the same day. The astrologer in me saw the synchronicity and I immediately asked her if I could check her chart.
She has an Aquarius rising and right then, the Sun was opposing her ascendant which is her souls purpose. (Hint, any time the Sun crosses an angle in your chart, these are feel good days. This includes your ascendant, the descendant and the IC & MC. Think of a compass with north, south, east and west. When the Sun is there, we feel great.)
Also, the day this happened Mars and Jupiter were together in the sky. They were lined up with Mercury in her chart. Mars is her time lord this year so anything that happens to Mars in the sky will be extra potent. Remember, Jupiter is the giver who makes things bigger. He was giving Mars a boost for sure, and Mars is passionate and ready to take on the world.
Taking it one step further, she is having a full moon phase in her progressed chart. This essentially is a time when you are at a high point, when there is a lot of light on you. This has been going on for her since April of 2022 and will continue through next summer.
The data nerd in me who likes to know things was tickled pink. When I shared this back with her she said this all made sense. She was inundated with media requests. She explained she had also had a lot of highs and lows of late, and I explained she was just finishing her Chiron return. This is a profound time of healing and growth. Again, this lined up for her.
All this from a random social media post I happened to catch. I hope this awareness gives my friend the confidence to keep plowing forward this year. With all that she has going on, I think that is inevitable whether she tries to get ahead or not. Her cycle is in a high. She will do great.
There are no coincidence my friends. There are highs and lows, peaks and valleys in our lives. Everything is a cycle. Of this I am certain.
